The Comfort Hotel Adelaide Meridien and the Econo Lodge North Adelaide are located just minutes from the centre of the Adelaide CBD, in the heart of the trendy shopping and dining precinct of North Adelaide. The hotel is also conveniently located within walking distance to Adelaide Oval.

Reception opening hours are from 7.30am – 10.00pm daily.

 

ACCOUNTS 

A copy of your tax invoice can be provided on request (printed or sent via email).

 

AIR CONDITIONING/HEATING 

Your room is individually equipped with reverse cycle air conditioning. If the air conditioner is not operating correctly, firstly check that the correct mode has been selected.  Please see below.  There is a mode button on the control unit (or remote control) which can change the unit from heating to cooling. For any further instructions, please contact reception.

COOL MODE – please select this mode in SUMMER if you wish to cool your room

HEAT MODE – please select this mode in WINTER if you wish to warm your room

 

AIRPORT 

The Adelaide International and Domestic Airport is located 10km away and travelling time is approximately 20-minutes from North Adelaide.

 

ALARM CLOCKS

An alarm clock is located on the bedside table. If you have any difficulties setting the clock, please contact reception.

 

ATM

The closest ATM is located in the foyer of the Lord Melbourne Hotel or inside the convenience store at 136 Melbourne Street, North Adelaide.

You will find two spare doonas (quilts) and two spare pillows in the wardrobe.

 

BREAKFAST 

Our in-house restaurant is currently closed.  Continental breakfast boxes are available to purchase from Reception.

Alternatively, a variety of options are available on Melbourne Street.

 

BUSINESS SERVICES

Photocopying, scanning and printing services are available at reception (additional charges apply).  Please email your document and request for printing / scanning etc to reception at [email protected] and our friendly staff will arrange your request.

 

CANCELLATION

Should it be necessary to cancel, amend or extend your reservation, please contact reception by dialling 9 or email [email protected]

 

CAR PARKING 

Please enjoy complimentary access to our guest car park. This area will be secured each night from 10.00pm until 7.30am.  To access the car park after hours, please insert your room access card in the yellow box card reader on the left hand side of the entrance.  To exit the driveway, please drive towards the gate and it will open automatically.

A same-day dry cleaning service is available to guests Monday – Friday. Collection must be received by reception before 9.00am on required day. Please contact reception to arrange this service (additional charges apply).

 

EMERGENCY

Your safety is our utmost concern.

In the event of an emergency evacuation, proceed to the nearest emergency assembly area (evacuation information is on the rear of the front door).
Please advise reception of an emergency or dial 000 for emergencies immediately if required.

 

GUEST AMENITIES

The hotel provides some basic personal amenities for you to use in your en-suite bathroom. For forgotten items, a limited supply of additional toiletries is available for purchase from reception.

 

GYMNASIUM

The hotel gymnasium is located on level 4 of the hotel.   The space overlooks the parklands of North Adelaide and is a welcome space for all hotel guests to enjoy.

 

HOUSEKEEPING

All rooms are serviced daily between 9.00am and 2.00pm. If you do not require your room to be serviced, please place the ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign on the outside of your door for our staff to see or notify reception.

 

IRON/IRONING BOARD

An iron and ironing board are located in the wardrobe of your room.

 

LAUNDRY

Guest laundry facilities are located on the second floor opposite room 220.  5 x $1 coins are required to operated the washing machine AND dryer.  Your guest room card will permit you access to the guest laundry.  Please contact reception for further assistance.

 

LUGGAGE STORAGE

This service is available to all guests at no charge. Please contact reception to make arrangements.

 

MALICIOUS DAMAGE

Guests are reminded that the cost of replacement or repair of anytime item, that goes beyond fair wear and tear, and that is caused by the guests or their invited guests will be charged to their account and subsequently charged to their credit card provided at time of check in.

 

MAINTENANCE

Should any appliances, fittings or services require attention, please contact reception and we will address the issue as soon as possible.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Buses into the city leave every 15-20 minutes from the stop either to the left or right of the hotel. Buses return to the hotel from King William Street approximately every 15-20 minutes. Hail 205, 206, 207, 208, or 209. From Grenfell Street hail 271 or 272. Buses 271 and 272 will bring you past the Zoo.

SECURITY

All rooms are fitted with security devices. We recommend that you ensure that your door is securely closed when leaving your room or before retiring for the night. Please ensure that your vehicle is also locked and that no valuables are left within sight.

 

SMOKING

All rooms are designated Non-Smoking. Smoking will only be allowed outside the building or on balconies with the door closed. Smoking within our hotel rooms is considered to be malicious damage. If a room is found to have been used for smoking by the guests or invitees of the guests a minimum charge of $200.00 will be charged to the guests account or credit card supplied at check-in.

 

SUPERMARKET

A convenience store  (FOOD PARK) is located at 105-107 Melbourne Street, North Adelaide. It is open 7 days from 7am – 10pm.

SWIMMING POOL

Relax in the outdoor swimming pool located in the courtyard area at the rear of the property.  Spa is currently closed due to COVID-19.  Open daily 7.00am – 9.00pm.  No alcohol or glass to be consumed in the pool area.  Children must be supervised by an adult (min 18 years old) at all times.  Pool towels can be requested from reception.

 

TAXI

Dial 9 to place an order for a taxi or dial direct to Independent Taxis on 1800 647 320. Although the taxi service is usually very reliable we recommend you book your taxi in advance.

TOURS

Reception will be happy to offer advice and make tour bookings on your behalf. A range of flyers of points of interest and maps of Adelaide are located in the foyer for your convenience.

 

TOWELS

To help save the environment please leave only the towels you want laundered on the bathroom floor. If you require extra towels, please see reception or dial 9.

 

WI-FI

Complimentary wireless internet is available to all guests. Please select ‘MERIDIEN GUEST WIFI’ on your device.  The password is lowercase ‘meridien’.
